BUS RULES

• The students would be picked-up and dropped at their respective stops fixed by the school. Request for any change in bus-stops and bus routes to suit an individual’s convenience will not be possible. The route and bus stops alongwith probable arrival timings respectively have been displayed on the Notice board at the school office. Parents who are interested in availing the transport facility for their wards are requested to check the route and the bus stop convenient to them and mention it in the prescribed form available at the school fee counter..

• One way transport facility would not be given. In any case, the transport fee will be charged for both ways.

• The transport fee must be regularly paid every month alongwith the school fee on all school working days between 1st to 15th of the ensuing month. If the fee remains unpaid for the 2nd consecutive month, the school would have no other option but to debar the student from using the transport and offer the vacancy created to the another interested student.
• The transport fee is to be paid for 11 months.
• The parents may have to arrange on their own to bring and collect their wards from the school owing to disturbance in the town.
• Cooperation is solicited from the parents, if at any time inconvenience is caused to them due to delay of the transport on either way owing to the breakdown of the buses/vehicles or for any other reason beyond the control of the transporter. In case of any unforeseen event the parents would have to arrange their own, transportation for their wards.
• No student will be permitted to discontinue bus service in the middle of the session.
• All students using the school bus are expected to be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the arrival of the bus.
• The bus will not wait for more than 1 minute at the stop.
• No student should come near the entry door of the bus until it has made a complete stopped.
• All students must occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding their buses.
• No student should travel standing on the foot board or inside the bus.
• The drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stops only.
• The list of stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of students and is always subject to changes.
• When the bus is in motion students must not move inside the bus they must not expose their head or arms outside the window.
• Students will be responsible for any damage to the buses due to negligence and shall be charged accordingly.
• No student is allowed to eat in the bus.
• Discarding of trash or food either inside or outside the buses is not allowed.
• Unruly behaviour like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviour is expected from the students.
• The driver’s attention must not be distracted while he is driving.
• Bus incharges are responsible for maintaining discipline on the buses, any serious offence must be reported to the Principal through transport incharge.
• .The student must travel only by the buses allotted to them by the transport in charge.
• .Parents are not allowed to take away their ward(s) when the buses are plying.
